SHINE PERFORMING ARTS is open we have number of different venues across the south coast. Classes offer a range of different genres in drama and performance.
Our Shine Studios have introduced a film and television class focusing on this area of the industry.
SPA agency represent all our children for professional work in the industry.
Film
We have many exciting projects here at Shine. Our ongoing film topic “Hartington Keep School of Magic” sees that all our classes have the opportunity to participate in. Each class will represent a house and have their own storyline. Students will be expected to develop a character and plot. Students can work independently creating their own script.

West End/Bitterne Class- Hartington- Keep Tv Series, Acting Up- a comedy mockumentary for age group 10-14 and Shadow Theatre for age group 5-9.
Ashurst- Age 5- 8- shadow theatre- into the storybook, for age group 9- 11- Gravekeeper’s curse and for age group 11-13 Vampire.

Stage
We will also be producing a musical showcase of live performances from across the classes, which will feature songs from the musicals and the Greatest Showman, which does seem to be a firm favourite with our Students.

Beauty and the beast musical, Annie and Mamma Mia.
TV
Our Ongoing television show “Why Don’t You Shine” is produced by the students and offers presenting, interviewing and public speaking as well as gaining self confidence.
Song current projects
The Greatest Showman, A million Dreams and This Is Me.
Each class will visit a local musical. Students will be given the option to choose what they would like to perform in the summer term for the parents, guardians and peers.
We aim to show film projects that students have been working on during an evening of extravaganza of merit and achievement. Children can celebrate achievements through the term.
All students will be given the opportunity to take exams for LAMDA and New Era in both drama and musical theatre. Students will have an exciting opportunity to compete in the Southampton Drama Festival in March.
